AI assistant for Jane App™ clinics
The aftercare assistant
The aftercare assistant follows up after an appointment so the next one actually gets booked. Emma sends the check-in and aftercare prompts your clinic has configured, then makes it easy to book again with your Jane App™ link. What she does not do is give aftercare advice: she sends what you wrote, and anything that reads like a clinical question goes to your practitioner.

Where patients slip away
The week after a visit is when a course of care quietly ends
Nobody decides to stop. The appointment goes well, the plan makes sense in the room, and then an ordinary week happens to it.
The window · nothing scheduled
Day 0
The appointment ends well
Day 2
The stretches they were sure they’d remember
Day 5
A question too small to phone about
Emma checks in
Your wording, in your clinic’s name
Hi Sarah — thanks for coming in. If anything comes up before your next visit, just reply here.
The reply
A question answered, or your booking link
None of this depends on anyone remembering. The visit completes in Jane App™, and the window gets covered whether or not the afternoon allowed for it.
The objection
The worry is that it sounds like a clinic that stopped paying attention
An after-visit message is the first thing a new patient hears from you once the treatment is over. If it reads as automated, it does not simply fail — it changes how the appointment itself felt, in retrospect. That is the bar this assistant has to clear.
Your words, not hers
The aftercare wording is yours. You supply what should be said and Emma sends it, so a patient reads your clinic in the message rather than a system that has learned to sound caring.
She will not answer a clinical question
Not carefully, not with a caveat, not at all. Anything that reads as a symptom, a worry, or a question about how recovery is going goes to your practitioner. She has no access to notes and no basis for an opinion, and pretending otherwise is the one failure this assistant cannot have.
Nobody has to remember
The visit completes in Jane App™ and the follow-up happens. It does not depend on who was on the desk, how the afternoon went, or whether anyone thought of it — which is the only reason it happens at all.
It opens a door rather than making an ask
The message gives a patient somewhere to put the question they think is too small to phone about. If they are ready to come back, your booking link is in the same thread. If they are not, nothing is pushed.
No discount, and that is deliberate
A percentage off here would book more appointments this month. It would also teach a patient to wait for the next one, and turn the least expensive relationship you have into your least profitable. We recommend against it during onboarding.
And if they still do not book
They are not lost. Weeks later the re-engagement assistant picks the same patient up with a different message, so the quiet after a visit is not where the story ends.
Why we built this
Why this one says less than it could
Most clinics have tried an after-visit message. The version that gets copied usually arrives from somewhere else — a rebooking prompt with a percentage off attached, sent the same evening, written to convert. It is the fastest way to make everything else your clinic sends look like marketing.
The gap it should be covering is smaller and more ordinary than that. Someone leaves an appointment feeling better than they have in weeks, certain they will remember the three stretches they were shown. By Thursday the certainty has gone and so have the stretches. They are not avoiding the next appointment. They have a question they think is too small to phone about, and nowhere obvious to put it.
So this assistant is deliberately quiet. It carries your wording rather than hers, opens a door rather than making an ask, and it gives up the easiest conversion in the suite. A discount in that message would book more appointments this month. It would also change what your clinic sounds like, and that is not ours to spend.
Patients rarely stop because the treatment did not work. They stop because a small question went unasked, and then it stopped feeling worth asking.
Shaped by practitioners, clinic owners, and former front-desk staff who spent years sending this message by hand.

How it works
How it works
Step 1
The appointment finishes
The visit completes in Jane App™ and the assistant picks it up. Nobody has to remember to follow up, and nothing depends on who was on the desk.
Step 2
Emma checks in
A short, warm message on the timing you set, carrying the aftercare wording your clinic supplied — not wording she has generated about recovery.
Step 3
Booking again is one reply away
If the patient is ready to come back, she sends your Jane booking link in the same thread. If they raise anything clinical, that goes to your practitioner instead.
In the journey
Where it fits in the patient journey
This is the gap immediately after a visit — the point where a single appointment either becomes a course of care or becomes the last one.
- A patient partway through a plan of care who needs the next visit booked
- A first-time patient deciding whether your clinic was worth returning to
- Post-treatment windows where your clinic has specific guidance to pass on
- Anyone who left intending to rebook and never got round to it
One of nine

Questions
Aftercare, answered
Does Emma give aftercare advice?
No. She sends the aftercare wording your clinic has configured — the same guidance you would hand a patient yourself — and nothing she has composed about recovery. She does not advise on symptoms, interpret how recovery is going, judge whether something is normal, or suggest what a patient should do about it. Anything that reads as a clinical question goes to your practitioner rather than getting an answer from her.
What if a patient replies that they are in pain or worried?
That goes to a person. Emma escalates when clinical judgment is required and when a patient expresses concern or urgency, so a reply like that reaches your staff rather than an automated response. She has no access to clinical notes and no basis for assessing it, and the page you are reading is the wrong place for that conversation — a practitioner is the right one.
Can Emma tell me what times are available?
No — and that is deliberate. Emma doesn’t handle availability at all. She answers what she knows from your knowledge base — services, pricing, duration, practitioners, policies — and hands off your Jane App™ online booking link, where the patient sees your live schedule and picks their own time. Because she never reads or quotes your schedule, she can never offer a slot that is already gone. Separately, background data sync with Jane keeps re-engagement targeting and the dashboard current — that is reporting data, not availability.
Can we control the timing and wording?
Yes, both. The timing, frequency, and tone are configured to your clinic during onboarding, and the aftercare content is yours — you supply what should be said and Emma sends it. You can adjust or switch it off at any time, and opt-outs are enforced automatically.
Which plan includes it?
Nurture, at $299/month CAD, alongside first-visit, birthday, and Google review — the assistants for patients already coming through the door.
