Do I need to know anything about Facebook ads to use this?
No. The Growth plan is fully managed — we handle campaign setup, ad creative, targeting, bidding, and ongoing optimization. Your only involvement is approving the creative before it goes live. No ad manager access required, no technical knowledge needed.
Is the ad spend really included, or is there a catch?
It's genuinely included. The Growth plan covers the Rebookly platform, the campaign management, and the Meta ad spend — all in one price. There is no separate ad budget you need to fund. What you pay is what you pay.
What if I already have a Facebook page but barely post?
That's fine. Retargeting works based on your audience data — website visitors, your Jane patient list — not on how active your page is. Even a modest social presence generates a meaningful retargeting audience over time. And for past patients, the Jane list upload works regardless of social activity.
How is this different from just boosting a post?
Boosting a post shows it to a broad, often cold audience and has no follow-up system. The outcome is very different.
What about CASL — is reaching patients via ads compliant?
CASL applies to electronic commercial messages like SMS and email, not paid advertising — so showing someone an ad on Facebook because they engaged with your clinic isn't a CASL message in the same way. Uploading your patient list to Meta is a separate privacy consideration, and clinics are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate consent to do so. We help you set it up to operate within Canadian requirements, and Rebookly handles CASL-compliant SMS separately. For your specific situation, we'd always recommend confirming with your own advisor.
Does this replace the SMS re-engagement that's already included?
No — it adds to it. SMS re-engagement still runs automatically for patients within the two-year CASL window. The Growth plan's retargeting ads run alongside that, reaching patients who have gone silent to SMS and can no longer be texted. The two systems work together and don't overlap.
